AI or Nah? is a Chrome extension that analyzes text on web pages to detect whether it was written by a human or generated by AI.
When you click "Translate This Page," the extension extracts visible text blocks from your current tab and sends them to our server for analysis.
We collect no personally identifiable information. Specifically:
Text blocks are sent to our proxy server, which forwards them to the Anthropic API (Claude Haiku model) for classification. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
The extension stores no data in your browser. Our server retains no logs of content or user activity beyond the ephemeral rate-limit counter described above.
This extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
